Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and My Real Spanish ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of our Spanish language learning platform, website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using My Real Spanish, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EU) and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

My Real Spanish is an educational software platform providing Spanish language learning tools including:

• Spanish verb conjugation exercises and practice
• Interactive grammar lessons and explanations
• Vocabulary building tools and exercises
• Learning games, quizzes, and speed challenges
• Progress tracking and streak systems
• Downloadable educational e-books (when available)

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to update it as necessary.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately via our in-app contact form or at realspanish.support@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform.

Subscription Plans: My Real Spanish offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Current pricing is displayed on our pricing page and may be updated before or after launch with advance notice.

Payment Processing: Payments are processed through our payment partner (Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method on the billing cycle selected.

Free Access: We may offer a free tier or trial period at our discretion. Free access may have limited features.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Taxes: Prices may be subject to applicable taxes depending on your jurisdiction.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: We offer refunds at our discretion. If you experience a significant technical issue that prevents use of the Service, please contact us within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are not provided for partial periods or for changes of mind after substantial use.

Stripe Refund Policy: Where payments are processed through Stripe, Stripe's refund terms may also apply.

When e-books or other digital products become available, the following terms apply:

• Digital products are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only
• You may not redistribute, reproduce, or resell digital products
• Downloads are typically available immediately after purchase
• Due to the digital nature of the products, refunds are generally not offered once a file has been downloaded

All content within My Real Spanish — including text, exercises, grammar explanations, app design, graphics, e-books, and software code — is the intellectual property of My Real Spanish and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
• Scrape, copy, or harvest content from the Service
• Share your account with others or resell access
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the application
• Use the platform in any way that could damage or overburden our infrastructure
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful content

My Real Spanish is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific learning outcomes will be achieved.

Educational content is designed to supplement, not replace, formal language education. We make no guarantees regarding language proficiency gains.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, My Real Spanish shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless My Real Spanish, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Your use of My Real Spanish is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, followed by binding arbitration if resolution cannot be reached, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
